Every year, the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter hosts Congress, an engaging and thought-provoking, 3-day conference attended by 1,000 fundraising professionals from across the country.
In 2018, Congress Chair, Ann Rosenfield, wanted something ‘bold and breakthrough’ in terms of the conference’s brand. Approaching wishart 10 months before the event, we worked tirelessly to create something that had never been done before: create dozens of disruptive images to showcase the theme of ‘Disruption.’
We photographed well-known fundraisers and then messed with them. The impact of seeing these fractured and fragmented photos on a 100-foot-long screen in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s main hall was immense; people audibly gasped when they entered the room.
Now, for the third consecutive year, wishart is developing creative for Congress. This year’s theme is entitled ‘Money, Death & Sex.’ Known only to a select few while it remains under wraps, we can tell you that the creative for ‘Disruption’ looks tame by comparison.
We are not only working to attract the attention of Canada’s best and brightest fundraising professionals so as to motivate them to attend Congress, we are also attending to every aspect of the staging and décor. Stay tuned!
