Although we’re both too shy to admit it, after doing a number of assignments both large and small, we think the Grimsby Benevolent Fund actually likes us! Well, the feeling is very mutual.
Like so many small charities that depend on local talent to turn out (and in some cases churn out) collateral material quickly and inexpensively, GBF used a series of designers over the span of years, none of whom consistently incorporated the charity’s logo, colours, or typography into their designs.
So, the very first thing that wishart did was conduct an audit of GBF’s materials so that we understood the essence of their brand. We then used this audit to inform a successful tactical ad campaign, along with many other projects and reports since. By establishing GBF’s logo as the cornerstone of our designs, everything we create has a homogeneous look. Bit by bit, we’ve created a brand that’s recognizable.
It’s helping make a remarkable difference!
In 2019, GBF posted their first million-dollar year. And despite COVID, they’re making a bigger impact on the local community than ever before thanks to strategic fundraising initiatives that focus on basic needs like food and housing.
