We hate waste!
Working with the City of Hamilton off and on since the late 1990s, we have accomplished many breakthroughs:
- The toppling of SWARU, the City’s infamous incinerator. No more noxious notoriety as the ‘Garbage Capital of Canada.’
- The extraordinary introduction of the Green Cart Program which was copied by countless cities and jurisdictions throughout North America.
- Creation of the ‘Gold Box’, a highly successful reward and recognition program for residents who curb their waste.
- One-bag-a-week garbage collection (down from unlimited).
Hardly happy, we won’t be satisfied until we make garbage history.
