No sooner than we had finished our first project for Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation – a much admired Case for Support – than we were ‘fired.’ The client loved our work and loved working with us, but COVID-19 required them to call 9-1-1 and they quickly issued an RFP for an emergency multi-platform communications plan in response to the pandemic.
With no time to lose, we won back the business; we were hired back within a week.
Two weeks after that, we had revamped the Foundation’s website; completed two videos that went viral; created a social media campaign that engaged hundreds of people on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; and put the finishing touches on a direct mail campaign that reached over 12,000 households all in support of Stevenson’s Superheroes.
The response was incredible!
While most Canadian charities saw declines in their fundraising due to COVID, most charities that wishart helped saw their revenues INCREASE! Stevenson was no exception: they raised $4 million in cash gifts and commitments, a 17% increase year-over-year.
